The REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals) regulation came into force on 1 June 2007. It's important that all manufacturers, importers and downstream users of chemicals are prepared and fully aware of the impact this new legislation has on their business. ABSCO Materials has completed the pre-registration of all its products through the ECHA portal and will be actively involved in the "phase-in" registrations over the coming years. ABSCO Materials is an active member of the MMTA, an association that serves to benefit and promote the international trade of minor metals.
Due to the growing international trade and consumption of Rare Eath materials, ABSCO has been involved in the introduction of these materials into the association.
